  • The Nook door is always open please come and stay in our luxury Cotswold Annexe. Are you looking to enjoy a break in the Cotswolds or do you need to stay somewhere homely for work? So much is on offer in the area, please see below for all the details.

    Our annex is totally self contained with it's own entrance leading into the light and airy main living area where you will find the sumptuous king size bed and small sofa where you can sit and relax, a full size fridge with freezer box and a cute breakfast bar for two. You will find a compact and bijou country kitchenette with large sink, microwave, toaster, kettle with tea and Nespresso coffee machine . The ensuite bathroom has a super modern shower that you can bluetooth your music to whilst the colour changing lights add to the ambiance, oh, it will spray you with water as well.!
    The room has been fitted with white wooden shutters for your privacy which adds a little chic touch as we designed the room to bring the boutique hotel feel to Minster Lovell.

    The property has its own parking right outside and is accessed via a wooden gate along a cobbled path.

    Minster Lovell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from Burford, Blenhiem Palace, Caswell House (gorgeous wedding venue) and only 20 minutes from the centre of Oxford. We are conveniently situated for visiting the famous Bibury and Bourton on the Water ( quintessential Cotswold villages) . We are only 40 minutes from Cheltenham, ideal for the races. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Daylesford are accessible easily from here. If you fancy some retail therapy Bicester designer outlet shopping village is a wonderful day out. There is a public bus stop immediately outside the house and the nearest railway station is Charlbury which is only a 15 minute drive. And of course the latest edition to our area The Farmers Dog (Jeremy Clarksons pub)- a six minute drive away ! Downton Abbey was partly filmed in beautiful Bampton which is just down the road . It’s a wonderful central location for exploring the Cotswolds! We’dlove you to come and stay , Vikki & Simon

Great 4 Night stay

Very clean with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Very comfortable and stylish accommodation Lovely welcome with homemade cake and wine on our arrival. Vicki is a lovely considerate host.

A small but perfectly formed space!

We stayed for 4 nights. The bed sitter was perfect for us and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The whole place was very well designed and equipped and beautifully clean.The host was lovely - kind, friendly and helpful.

Was a wonderful stay, property manager was really helpful and friendly from the first interaction and very welcoming. The property itself was decorated beautifully and was very clean. The area around the property was stunning and in a good location. We definitely will be visiting again. Thank you

A Welcome Respite

We chose to come here to rest after a trans-Atlantic flight and to get over jet lag before joining friends and family for the holidays. The Nook was the perfect spot for doing that! The host's attention to detail and hospitality is A+. We highly recommend it.

Great modern and cozy love nest!

Very welcoming host. Wine and Chocs on arrival! Perfect for our weekend away. Close to some fab cotswold villages. The lamb pub a taxi ride away served great food. Vikki our host even dropped us off!

Lovely little getaway spot for Cotswolds

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Nook. Vikki was an excellent hostess, and frequently reached out to ask about our needs and to give us any updates she thought we might find useful. The Nook

We had a wonderful stay at The Nook, hosted by Vikki, Simon & Alice also not forgetting their gorgeous dog Oscar, the property was set to a very high standard, clean and fresh, king size bed was very comfortable, crisp white bedding, my husband loved the hi-tech shower with jets, lights & music, very well thought out. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and a cream tea both delicious, Vikki was very attentive and friendly, definitely worth a stay if your in the area.

Perfect place to stay

The Nook was absolutely lovely! Spotlessly clean and so well presented. A perfect spot to visit all the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Vikki was so welcoming and friendly.She made us some delicious Victoria sponge cupcakes. If you want to visit the Cotswolds this is the place to be. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Lovely stay in the cotsworlds

My partner and I had a lovely say at the Nook. The property was lovely and felt really homely. The property had everything needed and Vikki even had homemade scones there for our arrival. The property was clean and tidy and well located, as well as sign posted easily in the welcome directions. Vikki was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay and would love to visit again!

Wonderful Getaway

An amazing property, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. All the furnishings and appliances are good quality and very stylish. Lovely garden to sit out in too. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Vikki is very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the little extras like the wine and the cakes were much appreciated. We had a great time and would love to visit again. Highly recommended.

A shining cozy nook!

Absolutely all aspects were as described only better! Vikki and Simon are an absolute delight and go above and beyond w no prodding. The acxomodation is compact bit complete and again, absolutely a delight- well appointed and central to all our axtivities. We will be back!

Absolutely Wonderful

Wow what an amazing place The Nook is. It is extremely clean and the decor is top class and had everything we needed. We had such a lovely welcome by the owners and they checked each day if we needed anything. We had a lovely bottle of wine and yummy homemade cakes to welcome us too. Its a great place for visiting Blenheim Palace and Waddesdon Manor National Trust is amazing. There are some lovely local pubs to eat. I totally recommend The Nook, you wont be disappointed.

What a gem

Absolutely fantastic 5 day stay at this lovely property in August. The host Vikki was there to meet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. There was a bottle of wine, homemade cakes and a pint of fresh milk which we thought was a nice touch. The accommodation ticked all the boxes and the property was spotless and everything looked brand new. Perfect location for visiting all the best rated villages in the Cotswolds. Lots of fabulous walks and the scenery was just amazing. We will definitely be looking to book again soon.

Just plain excellent!

No other way to describe it - than excellent. Just a beautiful studio with everything you would need. Amazingly clean and looking like new. Very warm welcome from host with lots of helpful information about the area both from host and books/leaflets. Separate front door to studio which is why we chose it.

A recommended little gem

We were recommended by a friend who had stayed recently. Every detail was covered and the accommodation was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The owner/host, Vikki communicated with us leading up to our visit. Wine and homemade cakes awaited us and Vikki texted to make sure we were okay. A convenient location to access the Cotswolds for easy and beautiful walks in Minster Lovell or Burford. OS maps and guide books are provided in addition to thoughtful details in the studio that made our 4-day stay perfect. Vikki is attentive and caring, without being obtrusive. All aspects of the furnishings and appliances are top quality. Restaurants and pubs are nearby and plentiful. We loved staying here because it wasn’t in a a crowded area, and access to Heathrow by car was easy and done in less than 1.5 hours. We recommend a stay at the Nook to our friends and like-minded travelers.

Beautiful!!

Our stay at the Nook was flawless. The cleanliness, decor, location, everything was perfect. It was all a 15-30 minute drive to the Cotswold villages nearby and our hosts Vikki & Simon are the loveliest people! They will go above and beyond to ensure that you're comfortable and try to accommodate for you as best as they can. The Room is finished to a really, really high standard (yep, exactly like the pictures). It was so lovely for a 2 night stay, we hope to come back. Thank you so much for everything! :)
