We really enjoyed spending most days out on the large balcony and reading, chatting, and enjoying meals. Nature is literally in your backyard here and it was fun seeing bunnies, squirrels and a wide variety of birds play or fly nearby. “I was in town for a family reunion. I wanted a place to accommodate me, my sister, her son, and my daughter, both adults. The location was great, as it is very near Balboa Park, the venue for the reunion. We arrived to a clean, easy to access home, with plenty of room and a beautiful back patio. The house worked out great. We even had some family back to the house after the reunion. Patrick was availableand responded immediately as we communicated”

“Absolutely amazing views off the deck and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there- there’s a comfortable sectional couch and a dining table with ample seating for meals. Loved the ambiance with a tree growing out of the deck and the string lighting too. Very private and serene. The kitchen was well stocked and the host provided fresh eggs. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean with good water pressure.We enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub too.There’s parking on the road……

“My husband and I enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at the Birds Nest. It’s a quaint, well-cared for home with a large deck for enjoying cocktails and/or meals in comfort under twinkling lights at night, a separate fire pit area, and a lovely garden setting. If you’re traveling with a dog, this is definitely a pet-friendly property. The back area is fully enclosed/secure, and your pup will love exploring the grounds. “This small guest house is located in a great area of Simi Valley close to shopping and restraunts. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Our only issue was no designated parking and had to park on the street. That is kind of on us, because where we live, parking is not an issue. Needless to say we do not live in California. But the house is beautiful and the host ever so nice. We would stay here again if we ever come back.”
