Big Sea - Oceanfront in Central Yachats

"Excellent location and property, especially while traveling with our small dog. Fenced in yard and walkability were important to us. Easy to keep the house clean with hard floors and outdoor hose for cleaning off. Beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen and comfortable seating made it easy to stick around the house for meals and down time."

"Great location. Great deck. We had everything we needed to have a great stay in Yachats! Be aware that neighbors' decks on both sides are very close. In other words, the deck is not very private. But great ocean viewing and people watching."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tide & Seek was the perfect location for our two-night home base in Yachats. It's an ideal spot only two blocks from Yachats State Park (where we spend a lot of time) and about three blocks from the Drift Inn (where we also spend a lot of time). Groceries, post office, and plenty of food and bev choices are all within easy walking distance. Tide & Seek is the perfect size for two of us and our pup and is well-appointed for what we needed. We did not cook, but I was pleased to find a kettle for heating water for my pour-over coffee in the morning. The ice-maker in the freezer was an unexpected bonus. Everything was spotless, and the front patio was perfect for our evening happy hours and morning coffee with crosswords. Literally the only slightly odd part of our experience was the solar-powered mole deterrent stakes, which make a weird, random buzzing sound. It wasn't overly intrusive, by any means, but definitely noticeable. Nothing that would prevent us from staying here again or strongly recommending Tide & Seek to others. Thank you for a lovely time in Yachats!"

"This was the perfect house for a weekend at the coast. It was really easy to walk where we needed to go so we didn’t need to worry about parking downtown. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to prepare pretty much any meal. The back yard was perfect. My favorite part was the windows overlooking the ocean. I was able to watch the water crash on the rocks, which is one of my favorite things to do for downtime at the coast. My child was really appreciative of the mega blocks in the game closet. I would definitely stay here again!"
