Accommodation was clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location to explore North Yorkshire.

Accommodation was clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location to explore North Yorkshire. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with home made jam, biscuits and bread. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day. Hosts were very welcoming and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Cass Lodge for a week.

We stayed at Cass Lodge for a week. We arrived to homemade shortbread and a locally baked loaf and fresh jam, which was a lovely touch. We received a warm welcome from Helen and had many good chats! The lodge was very clean and well furnished with everything you could want, a real home from home.We were perfectly placed for York, Thirsk etc and Easingwold was lovely and close to have a stroll round and have a leisurely coffee, although you would need to drive or cycle there… The hot tub was lovely, so relaxing looking over the open fields.We would love to go back.

Cottage was lovely and clean and the owners very helpful and friendly. Beautiful part of the world. Kids loved the hot tub and garden. We'd recommend and would love to stay again

Best Cottage we have ever had.

Best Cottage we have ever had. Everything you need is in the cottage and all the best quality. Helen is an excellent host - very helpful - nothing is too much trouble for her. The Hot Tub is definitely a bonus - star gazing at its best. Would recommend this to everyone who wants a quiet week - away from the stresses of their day-to-day lives. I would definitely stay at Cass Lodge again.

I would definitely stay at Cass Lodge again. With everything going on it felt safe and clean, it was great to have your own space and the setting is so peaceful. It was lovely to watch the sheep and chickens, and have a little cuddle with TJ the cat. The hosts are really friendly and accessible but still give you complete privacy. There were plenty of places to visit and things to do, we had to decide what we really wanted to do in a week. There were some lovely local pubs, go hungry because they do not skimp on portions. We had a perfect stay at Cass Lodge. Just what we needed; a quiet, countryside retreat with all the comforts of home. Helen was a most welcoming host with brilliant suggestions for cycling and seeing the local area. The garden was secluded and peaceful (apart from the birds, occasional bat and sounds of the countryside). The only slight issue was the intermittent WiFi (the kids missed this the most, but we all probably benefitted from switching off for the week!). Plenty to keep busy for the week; Howardian hills, cycling, Fountains Abbey and even a day trip to the seaside! A private hot tub in the garden really was the cherry on top. Thoroughly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Cass Lodge.

We had a fantastic stay at Cass Lodge. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the host family makes you feel very welcome. Lot’s of tiny details make this place special and the biscuits waiting for us when we arrived were delicious! We enjoyed using the hot tub every day and out little one loved to visit all the farm animals. We will definitely be back next year.

Warm, light cottage.

Warm, light cottage. Kitchen well equipped. Superb hot tub. Owners friendly and extremely helpful. Comfortable bed (we prefer a harder mattress, which Cass Lodge had). Tranquil, quiet, rural setting. Affectionate cat. Huge punnet of delicious raspberries kindly given to us from the owner from her own garden. Very glad we booked Cass Lodge.

Cases lodge was a very clean and comfortable place to stay for a holiday.

Cases lodge was a very clean and comfortable place to stay for a holiday. Very hospitable owners. Added features of a hot tub and garden furniture was very nice in the quiet garden surrounded by fields and visited by the resident sheep every day. Children loved to see Bella the pig and her piglets. Lots of places to visit from the lodge, Castle Howard, market towns of Pickering, Helmsley, Malton, and of course York. The coast can also be reached. Some great pubs nearby for good food . All in all, would highly recommend Cass Lodge.

We had a wonderful week at Cass Lodge.

We had a wonderful week at Cass Lodge. Home from home, very well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was brilliant, a shame we couldn't use it on the first evening. Our only criticism is the lack of garden furniture. We had some lovely weather but nowhere comfy to sit outside. There is a wooden picnic bench, not very comfy for a quiet read etc. I would suggest taking some fold up sunbeds or chairs.

Had a lovely relaxing week here. Nice trips to York, Whitby & various castles and an Abbey. The house was clean and fairly well equipped. It's very peaceful there & the hot tub is ideal.
