"The hotel is just far enough from the beach and from Amsterdam to make it feel like you are staying near a beach resort. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the beds comfy and the bathroom was accessible though you needed to go up a step to access it. There is lift access to all floors and the room is big enough to move around in with a wheelchair but as noted above the bathroom and shower weren't easily accessible if you were in a wheelchair."

"First experience with a smart hotel room. Stayed three nights and still found that we could not completely figure out the electronic parts. Lights in bathroom would shut off when in the bath relaxing and trying to read a book (had to stand to reactivate them which was annoying) and room blinds/lights would randomly open/close at times (still can’t figure out why). Laundry facilities are limited access - only available when reception is manned. Location was excellent!!! Close to beach, food options and the train station!! Would stay at again."

Bedden lagen prima. Ook het contact met eigenaren verliep prima. Ik geef dit een dikke 10. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. It appears that Pension Blankebil has many buildings/rooms. Our room was quite clean, however the room had a musty odor that did not dissipate. The shower would overflow and flood the bathroom if your shower was more than a couple of minutes long. However the water was very hot and had great pressure. The beds were comfortable with extremely lumpy pillows. The location was very good - a few minutes walk to the beach, grocery store or town centre."
