I had a great stay after all. The manager Agnes was very kind and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the food was fantastic. I appreciated how kind the staff was. I will be back. Huge thank you to Agnes for the warm hospitality!

Cannot express how wonderful our stay at the Lanson Place was. From the moment we checked in, staff was on top of things getting us situated in. We like to express a gratitude to the manager Kevin and front desk staff, after 14 hours of travel, the level of engagement we received was exceptional. Next we wish to thank you Annie, who every day made us welcome to breakfast, the most important meal of the day. We enjoyed the balance between western and hong kong breakfast. We wish to also extend our gratitudes to the housekeeping staff who attentively ensured our utmost level of comfort. We should note, that having the ability to do laundry on site, helped us reduced the amount of clothing we had to use. Next time, we will be sure to pack less, leaving room for more souvenirs. The Lanson Place is a gem, a island of tranquility in the bustling causeway bay. Convenient and easy access to the metro line, it was a good choice for our base during our hong kong visit. We highly recommend others to stay here, it is a treat and wonderful experience. Thank you for everything. We will see you again.

The room was very dusty which could’ve have been dusted better and aircon was constantly on - housekeeping turned it back on after we left it off, meaning the room was cold - front desk kindly gave us a portable heater, there was air purifiers luckily.

Clean, Staff was accommodating and central location

Smooth and easy, we came in at midnight and the staff were excellent. 5 minutes after we arrived we were in our room with breakfast ordered. The room was spacious with a desk and a couch. Right at the airport so 2 minute walk.

This was our first stay at this hotel and would easily stay again. Staff service was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast had the largest variety I have ever had at a hotel, more options than you can eat. Close to public transport, lovely park nearby to walk in, dining options galore, all you need close by for short stays.

On the positive side room was clean, was functioning bathroom in a good location for public transit and local shopping. Comfort is a personal judgement. If you're young enough to be or recently remember backpacking and hostels, this may meet your needs. I found the hotel and service utilitarian and joyless. The paper rather than cloth towels in the room were a nuisance but that only proving two for a 3 night I found tacky. (Pehaps intent was if I hang first night paper towel up I will dry by 3rd day). Additional paper towels along with soap (none in room) and other tolietries are available for purchase. I thought I was looking for basic accomodation but this is more basic than I want. It may work for your needs and budget. If you're over 30 or your notion of basic hotel is Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn Spark by Hilton, this may not be best choice for you.
