「What a beautiful, historic place to stay! 」

「Room was small with no closet large enough for a 5 day stay with 2 people. No dresser. 」

「Perfect location on Lake Charlevoix and walking distance to downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable but definitely outdated. The pictures we saw online when booked were of an upgraded unit, not the one we stayed in. Nevertheless, it did the job and we can handle some outdated wallpaper. We only wish they have chairs on the back patio, the lake view was amazing but we had no chairs. 」

「Be sure to make Reservations for the Restaurant! Food is outstanding my husband and I are fussy because we use to be Chefs! The inn is very quiet and it's a couple block to lake Michigan. Staff is very friendly!」

「Stellar service, staff, and atmosphere. Extended stay cuz it was soooo good. Older facilities, but clean and accessible. Card only (that’s rt, NO CASH. Other than tips) was a bit inconvenient, but they do provide conversion machines cash to card. Can’t wait to come back in snow season. 」

「Everything was wonderful here. Clean, staff was helpful and polite, beds were comfortable and plenty of parking. My issue was the breakfast. When I pay a little extra to stay at the Hampton, I do expect breakfast to be better than what they had. Most of the food, if it wasn't gone, was cold and they ran out of coffee. 」

「Our stay was fine. Early in the season, so there were not many cars in the lot. The location and the town were perfect, everything was walkable.」

「Pros: quiet, clean, comfortable bed with many pillows, great cable selection Cons: the bathroom is dated, temperature control on tub (I prefer a shower that isn't luke warm). For the price it was reasonable. 」
