Southern Basque Country 1 Star Hotels

"Lovely staff but the hotel is looking quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. The third/bunk bed is really only suitable for children. My 16 year old son said it was like sleeping in a coffin. Though clean, my own bed smelt a little and the sheets were ripped. I think many people have smoked in the room, despite the hotel’s no smoking policy. "

"We loved San Sebastian and found the hotel location very convenient. We are also very grateful for the wonderful help we received from the hotel Receptionist on the day we checked out. Our early morning flight was canceled and ti reschedule we needed a Spanish speaker. The Receptionist patiently spoke with the airline so we were able to reschedule without having to go to the airport. "

"Very cool little place in old town Bilbao. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The front desk was amazing and she let us leave our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Smaller rooms but a comfortable bed and everything was very clean."

"I really needed a rest day on my Camino de Santiago, and the hotel was simple and perfect. Rooms are clean, oldies but goodies. At the bar-reception, Thiago was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a good, safe option, if you are not looking for luxuries but convenience. It's centrally located, blocks away from all the historic places, and close to all dining and bars in town."

"The room faced the ocean and the view and the sound of the surf was priceless. A storm kept all but the bravest surfers away, and we spent half our time cosied-up watching and listening to the ocean. The staff, especially the cook, was friendly and eager to please."

"Bit of trouble accessing properly at first, as no access code came through!however it was sorted within 10min!by lovely memeb of staff!who worked in bar across road!!otherwise room/cleaning/was all good!Great shower!kitchen down below also good to have and washing machine and drying!only thing i have against is itz a 15 min away from central!so if you're looking to be bilbao itself??on a gd day!lovely walk along river!about 30min?i enjoyed walking along river!though a lot of changes going...

"Es una pensión funcional en el segundo piso con ascensor. Habitación con baño cómodo. El único pero... La ventana al abrirla para ventilar, casi se cae hacia adentro, la bisagra no tiene tornillos, puede generar un accidente."
