"What a fantastic place to homebase on Arran. This was early in our trip and it really set the stage. Brian was such a great breakfast host, always brining a cheery start to our days. Room was fantastic. The only complaint was that the internet was horrible. This wasn't a huge deal overall, but it was a bit inconvenient when trying to look up various activities and places we wanted to explore. Apart from that, 110%."

The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. "My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "
