“The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend. ”

“The room had an ensuite, though it was a bit cramped. The bed was okay, but a bit soft for me. You had an option of a continental breakfast, but the breakfast room was at another associated property 2 doors down. It was within walkimg distance of the town centre.”

The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. This self-contained unit includes, a kitchenette, fire stove, and parking. Its position on a quiet hillside afford visitors with a gorgeous view of mists rolling down the hills to Loch Awe. “I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.”

“Fae and Marcos are welcoming and did everything to ensure we got the best from our stay. Our room was large, with a fabulous view, the bathroom very large. All done with antique furniture and art old and new on the walls. The lovely cosy lounge with a warming fire was a great place to relax with a tot of whisky kindly offered by Marcus. You could wander around the garden or walk down to the river. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. A perfect place to base our holiday.”

“Clean and fresh room. It was not a big room though, so for the 3 of us not that much space. Also, it was old fashioned. That doesn't matter of course, but an old mattress doesn't sleep to well. We found it to be 'bumpy'. Area is fine, supermarket and restaurants at walking distance, as well as ferry and train station.
