"We only stayed one night, but absolutely loved our time at the Carmel Mission Inn, and will definitely be back here any time we're in the area. First off, the location is fantastic — just walking distance from local boutiques, coffee and a grocery store right across the street in Carmel Valley. But the true magic of this place is the friendliness and kindness of the staff, and all the little details. For us, it was everything from the wooden room keys with sweet little messages to the postcards...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place very much. Great breakfast bar! The hotel is comfortable and attractive. A walk to the beach is utterly doable, boardwalk is maybe six or seven blocks away. Would definitely stay here again. Hyatt Place is located in an older downtown neighborhood, Not great, but definitely not scary! "

"Our stay at this hotel was great! Our first floor room was very spacious and was well-stocked with everything we needed except body lotion. We would have loved another outlet or two (one on each side of each bed would have been great; one bed did not have an outlet on one side) and drawers vs. shelves for storing clothing would have been even better, but overall I have nothing bad to say. The fitness center was extremely clean and there was lots of equipment available, and I especially loved...
