"Would be 5 star but no free parking. If you have car, get ready to pay about $70 per night for valet parking. Area by hotel is good. Homeless encampments in Oakland are brutal."

"It was clean and chick in all aspects from entrance to hallways and rooms' furniture, like a brand new property. Also the valet parking is excellent, however the $60/night parking is high."

"Clean, updated and modern room and hotel with convenient bar/restaurant. However, they have you choose the days for housekeeper service by filling out a paper given to you at check in and my room was never serviced during my entire 5 day stay. I had to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk twice during my stay."

"We stayed here to be close to the Coliseum for a concert. Definitely worth the upgrade to a lake view room. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again. "

"Nice location, surprisingly quiet for being next to the freeway. BUT housekeeping fell short - no washcloths upon arrival and never delivered when I called, and only two paper cups provided; next day the 'refresh' meant towels replaced, trash emptied, but beds were not made and we did not get any new cups. Breakfast not included for $150/night stay. Yikes."

"We upgraded to a room with a water view and a large balcony. An added bonus is the hotel’s proximity to the neighboring ferry. Within 25 minutes we were in San Francisco."
