「I asked for a quiet room and the gentleman at the front desk searched diligently to find one. I practically had a wing to myself. Thank you. The pool is small but fits the bill for young kids to play in. The exercise room has what you need: an elliptical, a treadmill, and dumbbells. I only wish that the TV was in a place where I could watch it while doing my cardio. 「Honestly, one of the most charming places I have stayed! Super helpful, friendly staff and such a cozy atmosphere. I did some work on my laptop in the lobby area listening to jazz and having tea in one of their rocking chairs. Absolutely full of history and art in the middle of a little Hallmark movie town. Extremely walkable, well maintained, charming inn.」

「Nice historic house with comfortable common rooms and a great location, close to downtown restaurants and a Walgreens open 24 hours. But my bedroom was so small I could not easily walk around, and the half-bathroom was also very small. Wes, the owner, welcomed me at check-in and has a warm personality. But breakfast was not offered, even though a Booking listing said breakfast was provided and the owner mentioned breakfast too. 」

「Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it.
