"I stayed at room 208, the room seem like its been abandoned for ages. Mold growth on the ceiling and wall corners , curtains are dirty, no TV remote, no shower gel, have to wait for towels. Let alone the fact that I chose an option of a breakfast and paid extra yet the hotel does not provide breakfast"

"What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. "Stay away from this property! I honestly don’t know how this lodge got its 4 stars. The way this lodge treats its guests is not worth even one star. We were given a shabby room, which clearly used to be a shed before. The parking space is so narrow that a taxi was asked to park within 30 cm from the door opening to our room, which implied that my family had to squeeze themselves through the opening. The management was immediately notified but ignored my wife’s request to move the taxi. Only when...
