“What a monumental disappointment. No bathroom in the room, no AC. Terrible staff. I mean she (or they) couldn’t care less that I was there. The person made Checking in seem like a giant inconvenience to them. Then when I asked about AC it was like I was a jerk for even thinking about it, never mind it was 85° out. Then they begrudgingly passed me a fan. There are no bathrooms in the room. They need to spell that out on the front page, because I didn’t know about it until I got there. No……

“Our 2 night stay at Penn Cove cabin was magical! We saw bunnies, hummingbirds & eagles all from the front porch meadow area. And hearing the frogs in the pond as you drift off to sleep was so peaceful. The cozy little cabin is tucked away in the woods yet so close to anything you need. Deception Pass state park, Oak Harbor for morning coffee or groceries, Fort Casey/lighthouse & Coupeville are a must. The hosts are super helpful & quick to respond with any suggestions or questions you have. The……

“Great location. Cleaning needs improvements. Unfortunately this wasn't very clean. The unit smelled of urine when i entered, the bathroom window had been left open. The shower wall had soap residue running down it and the shower shelves had hair, dust and soap build up. the pillow and sheets had hair on them. The fridge had crumbs on the shelves and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. The dining table had dried on food. The closet shelves had hair and dust on them. the ”
