"My reviews are almost always based on the level of cleanliness where I stay and this place has my approval. This makes me immediately feel comfortable and assured i will relax and enjoy my stay without worrying about germs or other visible proof of someone else's stay there. Aside from the cleanliness, staff is friendly, accommodating, and not too much in your face. Breakfast is a plus as we were able to grab it downstairs and eat it on our balcony overlooking the harbor. The location is great and walking distance to the beach and good restaurants. Also, a quick ride to other shops, bars and restaurants on State Street with the security of our own parking so we can come and go as we please. Overall, highly recommend and hope to return."

"Here is a brief, balanced review you can use: "We really enjoyed our stay at Ojai Retreat! The views were absolutely amazing, and overall everything was great. The only downside was a slight smell in the carpet, but other than that, it was a wonderful experience."
