"Great location and very friendly and helpful staff."

"If a room has a shared toilet and bath, then they should say this clearly. They do not. It's rather expensive considering that the toilet is down the hall and shared with everyone else. "

"great for weekend stay. best with friends and families. authentic japanese tatami style hotel. walkable distance to ishiuci ski resort. "

"Very spacious and clean though relatively not a modern property. Ample amenities and kitchenware. Ideal for a large group and it’s very close to the resorts. "

"Nice onsen, room and location "

"The hotel’s remote location and beautiful views were wonderful! The hotel’s shuttle from and to Echigo-Yuzawa Station was very much appreciated. From Check-in to check-out the staff service was excellent. The Japanese/Western room was spacious. We had a corner unit with a view of the snow and trees. A free-flow of alcohol drinks during the meal was offered and we...

"From outside the hotel looks grand and impressive, but once you enter it becomes the opposite. The room was musty and had the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on. The shower barely worked and there were cobwebs along the base of the bed and on the ceiling. Don't get me started on the restaurants. Terrible food. Inedible to be honest. I love all styles of Japanese food and have no food issues whatsoever, this food was straight up prison food at best. I would highly recommend avoiding this...

"The staff are friendly and helpful. They explained clearly to me about the ski packages and feel free to call them for a ride. Breakfast was nice, included Japanese and some western dishes."

"Conveniently & cozy staying for ski since hot spring & shuttle bus station nearby. But lacking of food choice though their breakfast & dinner buffet are delicious.would booking again next time."
