"Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. It is so different to the big resorts near by. A much nicer, quieter feel. Feels like a paradise. The staff is so kind and helpful. The view from our room was gorgeous. City centre is a quick walk and the beach is even closer. Can’t say enough good things "

"The stay was amazing. Breakfast that is available was great. We got a complimentary bottle of wine at the start of our stay. The upstairs patio area for breakfast was available to us all day and made a great place to relax in the evenings. The staff were very friendly. "

"My partner and I absolutely loved Sollagos. It was such a beautiful stay. Nice sized clean rooms. Iconic Portuguese architecture and super friendly and helpful staff. On our last day we realised we’d love a late checkout, management sorted it out no problem. Even organised a cab for us. Very close to local supermarket, and a quick walk to the beach and bustling streets of food, drinks and shops. But far enough away to feel secluded and relaxed. Would definitely recommend!"

"We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. "

"The hotel was great. I was disappointed Expedia did not let us know the pool was under construction. We booked specifically to have the pool as an option and would have changed bookings if we were told. The hotel is close to the beach with views of the coast. It is a short walk to the town. Go kayaking it is the best way to see the coast!"

"We stayed here for 3 nights. The overall hotel exterior is a little run down but the room was clean and spacious. We had an ocean view balcony and the view was great. For the price we paid, we thinks it was a good deal. We walked across the street to the ocean boardwalk for a 20 minute leisure walk to down town and took a less than $5 euro Uber back at night. You will hear birds chirping as the hotel has a few bird nets."
