"Hotel was great in a central location with clean comfortable rooms. The only issue arose with check in when the staff couldn’t find my reservation— unclear if that was a problem with hotels.Com or the hotel itself. But otherwise a wonderful stay."

"Amazing staff and comfortable rooms"

"We did a same day booking and the staff were very helpful. The included buffet breakfast was really good. The rooms were spacious and the king size bed was appreciated. The shower temperature was hard to set and hot water took a while, but the water pressure was good. The hotel badly needs a refurb and is feeling and looking tired. Carpets have been replaced with hard floors, doors have multiple layers of paint and the fridge is old and the cabinet no longer has a door. "

"The hotel is part of what was once a jail. Room was clean comfortable and a good size. Tea and coffee making facilities. Right next to the aquarium and all that the waterfront has to offer "

"Good central location. Difficult to locate easily in a busy pedestrian precinct so Shuttle bus from airport essential for a new visitor to CT. Not an area you want to be on foot with expensive luggage and looking like a new boy on the block. "

"This was the second experience with this property and without a doubt will not be the last! Excellent energy, ease of doing business, cleanliness and comfort. The new breakfast buffet was an exceptional addition to an already warm and friendly atmosphere. The attentive and upbeat staff were always smiling and ready to assist. The value is a powerful plus in an already unbeatable hospitality experience!"

"Staff all very helpful and friendly, remembering breakfast tea preferences without being asked. Lots of advice from front of house and doormen about various places of interest. Room clean, set up as single beds as I was lone traveller, but happy to make it into double as my preference. Bathroom clean, fresh towels every day, could improve shower curtain though to glass side instead. (My only complaint) again personal preference. Two minutes to sea front. Restaurant attached very cheerful, staff...

"I loved the historical building. The loft rooms were trendy and nicely decorated. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Could have been a bit more attention to detail, like marks on the couch cushions that could have been cleaned off. There is no parking if you come in a vehicle and we had to leave our car in the street which we weren't very happy about. There was a guard there and the car was fine though."

"The staff is amazing. Lorenzo and his team were extremely friendly and hospitable. The hotel provides a unique and exceptional vantage scenic point and view of Cape Town and Table Mountain. The view is spectacular! From the reception area, to the kitchen staff, and bar , housekeeping at every touch point and interaction the staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this property it is also centrally located without the busyness of the water front. "
