"Pool and location "

"Average hotel experience, with pros and cons. Great outdoor pool with somewhat inconvenient towel policy. Nice landscaping, but leaf blowing crew starts early. Breakfast off the menu is good, but don’t bother with the buffet. It’s really standard hotel fair and not worth the price. Turned down housekeeping because we don’t usually want it, but that was before we realized there was no towel bar anywhere in the room, only 2 towels total, and there was only one hook in the bathroom. "Great if you’re there for a convention or event at one of the many nearby event centers! Otherwise, not my favorite location, but the price was right. I will say that the bathroom did not match the photos and there were stains in the carpet and sitting chair. On a positive note, I requested non-down bedding and they changed it very quickly. "

"Truly a fantastic place. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Right next to the El and right in a little shopping district with plentiful restaurants and shops (highly recommend EmpanadUS for empanadas and gelato—both delicious). Parking was very easy, the room itself was exceptional (in the rooms with a tub, the tub is massive), and great amenities. "Highly recommend! Amazing view of the city and the lake, clean and quiet yet close to everything. Thoughtfully furnished with nice surprises like power strips, white noise machine in bedroom, electric kettle etc. It was ideal and we’d stay there again. "

"Great staff. David was 4stars and nothing less that superb. Friendly knowledgeable efficient. Always available. On the downside the shower was terrible. 3 weak steams of water out of the head left me wanting more. Also I was hot at night. No AC in April, I get it, but I sweltered. "
