"Excellent experience. Room was unexpectedly spacious and clean. Services were very top notch and the bath facility was very nice and clean. I have enjoyed my stay. The only thing is the bathroom Can be renovated a little Seeing mildew and darkened silicon on the bathtub was a bit off putting. "

"The staff was wonderful. At first i was hesitant for an upgraded room by front desk but took it and the view was stunning and did not disappoint of the Eastern part of town as well the Kamo River. The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station. "This hotel is pretty centralized to many restaurants, shopping outlets and temples. The staff at the hotel literally went above and beyond. They were very patient and accommodating to all my hotel needs and answered all my questions. I recommend to add the breakfast option if you're given one. Breakfast buffet did not disappoint.. huge selection to choose from. They offered American or Japanese options for breakfast. Lots of coffee, cereals, juice, breads.. it was all there. "Kyoto Brighton is an elegant property. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The vaulted ceiling in the hotel interior (6 floors high) gives an open feel and the lounge on the ground floor serves excellent desserts and beverages. Parking is easy and you are in walking distance from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and many delightful restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel was beautiful, the amenities - especially the private baths - were great. Staff were friendly and the location was very handy to get around from. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was the key system: you're only given one set of keys and you must always exchange your key with access to your shoes or vice versa, so just stepping out for some air was such a chore, especially when the front desk is packed with people checking in or just wanting to get their shoes.
