"The hotel rooms are really nice, the view from the 18th floor is pretty decent with the city lights at night. Valet parking during the stay was about 45 dollars at night come and go as you please. Self parking was around 30 dollars maximum I think, but you gotta pay every time you leave the parking lot, so if you plan to go in and out look into valet. The pool closes at 8 and there is no room service if you get hungry late late at night. The staff are wonderful and friendly. "

"The water was insanely hot. I lately burned my hand on the low setting. I felt that was not safe. My fridge was not cooling so the food I put in there was ruined. The hotel offered a food credit of $50 but upon check out it was not applied and credit card was charged. I had to call the front desk and was told that my credit card would be refunded. The room was well appointed and staff was courteous. My room had an excellent view of the stadium, you could literally see the game. The roof top bar...

"Emeline is perfectly located for a wonderful weekend stay in Charleston. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are quaint with plenty of space. The coffee shop downstairs is delicious and the bar/restaurant was always packed. You can walk to the Charleston market, King Street shops and historic district easily. There are so many restaurants nearby. Emeline is perfect! "

"We stayed in the south building and it seemed newly renovated. Love the “beach” Colors in the room along with the small kitchenette and the double bathroom sink (with one outside the toilet area). Very clean, staff were attentive, beach was terrific! Location was very good too. My only suggestion - there is a $40/day resort fee. That SHOULD include beach chairs or the use of bikes. While I appreciated the ability to park and the other small perks included in the fee - most of those are standard...

"Liked the location and proximity to marina, water taxi, USS Yorktown, restaurant and marina store. The walls in our room had a couple of dings in the paint, making it appear a bit shabby, but otherwise clean and fresh."
