“Maybe my expectations were too high. I usually book through the other one—both as a guest and a host—so I’m used to a certain level of basic amenities. I booked this stay through here and assumed it would be similar, but the house fell short in several simple areas: only one bathroom had hand soap (and it was a pump), there was no bath soap at all, no coffee, creamer, or sugar, and not even a box of Kleenex. “I have this 4 stars because of the beautiful location. The cabin is cute and I love the vibe but they really need to update the blinds because they were cracking and falling into pieces and the living room TV never worked. Also on top of the fireplace mantle has so much dust on it I would be embarrassed if that was my home. They need a better cleaning service perhaps. I would come back, just pack some bowls since there were not any.”

“We previously attempted to communicate directly with the property manager about our concerns, but didn’t receive any response. Below are the issues we experienced: During check-in, issues with the front door lock and access code after traveling 14+ hours and it being 100+ degrees outside (poor communication); Garbage left in guest bedroom dresser (McDonald’s cup with liquid); All nightstands dusty and dirty; Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles empty or nearly empty in guest……

“Please read before booking this property! First of all this is run by a management company so if you have any issues and need answers right away they will not help you. They will answer your phone call and let you know they will get back to you with in 24 hours but they never did. We had a question about pool/spa, called, they said they would get back to us but never did. “What a joke! Expedia "overbooked" us at another unit. So, this cabin was the apparent cabin we were "upgraded" to due to the mix up. Expedia advised me they had spoken to the owners to guarantee the cabin was available. Well, guess what? When we arrived at 4pm with our tired children, melting food and tired feet, there were three men in our reserved cabin. They began to tell us they had this cabin for another night. It was booked!!! Again?? Really Expedia? I believe the owners knew they were……
