"The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. The room, though very small, was decorated tastefully and well equipped. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Don’t go here for the Expedia perks. The arrogant young man at reception informed me that “we don’t honour that” when we checked in. A good portion of the staff share his snooty air unfortunately. The rest seem well trained and professional. "

"This hotel makes you rethink all the other 5 stars experiences you had in your life. It’s located in the heart of the city walking distance from the hippest places, it offers large rooms with great amenities. The food was freshly made and beautifully served ever day for breakfast with a great variety of options. The service though, that’s what I truly loved about my experience. They do a fantastic job making sure you feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was great, unfortunately they stuck us right above the pool which was being repainted. the fumes from the resin were making us sick. They put a sign in the lobby the day the pool was being worked on to apologize for the awful toxic smell. No advanced warning whatsoever. Thankfully Franck the front desk attendant was able to move us to a better room farther away from the pool. He was the bright spot at this place and the only reason I give it 4 stars. "We stayed mid June 2023. Very friendly staff and a very good quality hotel. Breakfast was good. The location is a bit isolated with a limited choice of bars and restaurants. Notwithstanding the name there is no actual beach at the hotel but you do have direct access to the sea via a secluded cove. The actual beach is a few mins walk away."

Bar Fitzgerald had fabulous live music- piano and vocals by extremely gifted lady pianist.There were a few areas that should be improved compared to our previous stays. Concierge are outstanding- Christopher, Luca, over night desk supervisor on Wednesday nights* ( both years). Others whose names I do not know were great. Shortfalls- bar waite staff.
