Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive. "I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "

Our group was able to walk to everything in the historic district, which made it nice to not have to find parking and get in a few extra steps. The house is perfect, beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a few meals of our own. If you are staying in Gettysburg and looking for a place to stay, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Stratton House!!!"
