After not receiving any information as how to get into the property we finally got the information from other guests. The property itself had everything that we needed and the location was very good. Being a local from many years ago didn’t need to worry too much about what was going on in the area. The only issue we had was the toilet was not easy to flush, something that needs to be fixed.

Overall good but basic accommodation. Location was good everywhere in Scotland was within a 2 hour drive which was ideal as we wanted to stay somewhere as a base, and visit a different part of Scotland each day. The property had everything we would've wanted (Albeit TV could have done with HDMI port). The only downside was the Storage Heater, not sure if this was shared with the main building (Tigh Craggan) but rarely could we shower with hot water as the tank had ran out everytime we wanted to use it. Lovely cottage, quite small but ok for a couple.I know due to Covid extra cleaning needs to be done but felt the departure time too early especially when requested to fill the dishwasher and strip bed before leaving.Parking quite difficult for a large car and the main road is quite noisy in the early morning. Parking was tricky and we had to swap with people in Tigh Craggan as their car was too long for their space. A gate at bottom of stairs would have been useful to prevent inquisitive puppy from venturing up! A toilet roll holder would be useful as would a hook on back of bathroom door. Lovely cosy cottage with all you need for a week’s stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely place to stay, lots of activities nearby and stunning scenery.Good weather helped and I would book again no problem.Location near to a road so heavy machinery coming through at 4am wasn't appreciated, just the once though and it has good double glazing which kept noise out most of the time.Overall had a really nice holiday and would stay in this location again,it is quite snug but suited our needs well.

Cosy little cottage near to amenities in Aberfeldy. Clean and comfortable, good WiFi. Although dogs are welcome, there is no garden or enclosed space and the cottage is situated on a busy road. This is the only reason that we wouldnt return. Great base to explore the area with all you need for a comfortable stay.

My partner & I spent 1 week at Little Tigh Craggan with our dog, a medium-sized staffie cross. The location is excellent, just a 10-15min off-road walk to Aberfeldy where all amenities are available. The area is stunning with so many walking options from on-the-level walks along the River Tay to Munros 30min away. We did a mixture of both including a walk right behind the cottage to St David's Well & Weem Rock and a walk from Aberfeldy to a waterfall- The Birks of Aberfeldy walk. The local hotel Ailean Chraggan does great food and is very dog friendly, as are many places in Aberfeldy. On our last morning we had breakfast at a cafe in Aberfeldy called Habitat Cafe - fantastic, can't recommend it enough. They served our dog before us with water & a treat (after checking with us first), and the food & coffee was superb. Little Tigh Craggan provided a great base for our holiday. It is well-equipped, though as we take the week's food with us we found the fridge a little small (owner advised), the bed is new & very comfortable and the shower great. There are gates that can be closed to prevent a dog from escaping although the gap at the bottom may allow small dogs under. The road is surprisingly busy but quiet at night. All in all we had a great time here and will be returning to Perthshire.

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. We had a smashing week there and, although the weather was very mixed, Aberfeldy had plenty to keep us occupied on the poorer days. The cottage was slightly let down by the equipment. For folks wanting to do self-catering, the knives were woefully blunt and a larger saucepan would have made things much easier. The TV and DVD player, although functional, are very out of date and in need of bringing up to a standard I would expect for a small cottage at the price. That said, I would happily stay there again.

The only problem we encountered was with the water pressure and this impacted on the use of the shower so we only tried it once.

This was our second visit to Little High Craggan, having been previously in August. It is a lovely well equipped cosy cottage....but due to the fact it is right on the roadside and what seems to be a main road at that, I think visitors should be made aware that the noise of traffic can be heard from very early hours, 5am! Thundering lorries, trucks and cars are not conducive to having a lie in even tho the bed is very comfortable!
