Happy quiet base camp

What a fantastic find off the path but close to Aberlour to enhance your journey and experience while in the area! Becks tended some awesome coffee and met our questions with friendliness and patience we will not forget. Highly recommend you trust your stay with the folks at this great property!

Aberlour Smolt Pod

Stayed at the Smolt pod at the Speyside Gardens Caravan Park in Aberlour for a long weekend with my husband and 13 year old son. The pod was beautiful, very clean, plenty of room and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing break. We were lucky to have nice weather so could take advantage of the covered patio and enjoyed a few drinks in the sunshine. Upon arrival the pod was ready and checking in was easy. We ran out of gas on Easter Sunday morning, however, the lady in the shop quickly managed to fit a replacement. I will definitely go back to stay in the future.

You have to book this!

I have never stayed in a cabin or luxury pod before and this was truly an incredible experience. The pod looks just like the pictures and my overall stay was so convenient and relaxing. The caravan park where the pod is located has its own shop and I was able to buy food, drinks, snacks, and whisky to stock my pod with - how convenient! The pod itself was truly luxurious. Since I was traveling alone, I slept in the upstairs loft and the bed was so comfortable. I had plenty of room to cook, relax, read, and study without any noise or distractions. The bathroom had plenty of space and the shower had great water pressure. The pod was stocked with plenty of cookware, silverware, dishes, glasses, and pans. I had everything I needed to cook each day that I was there. I met some of the others staying in the park and all of the neighbors were so polite and respected everyone's space. If you are traveling to visit distilleries, this pod is very close to many of the distilleries. I could not have found a better location. I had such a great experience that I plan on traveling back once a year!
