I was skeptical at first as some negative reviews said this is not a good place. It is not very new furnished hotel, however it is still great for the price you pay compared to others. The staff is really good and service quality for that price is perfect!

The hotel has a great potential to be 5 star hotel. Staff are amazing so is the location. The only area in my opinion that lets this hotel down is cleanness. House keeping staff are very friendly and accommodating but need proper training, supervision and realistic time to carry out their tasks efficiently.

Very good stay with my ill /deteriorating health wanted to stay near shops but had the hotel had no cancellation policy still after my stay I am happy as I can be so thank you oryx hotel.

Although maybe a little dated, the rooms are comfy and spacious. For the price it is good value. The Irish pub in the hotel is very pleasant and the happy hour prices are very good by local standards.

Very kind staff, we have asked for an upgrade at our arrival and they gave us a really big and comfortable room for the same price. We have had a problem with our 4yo daughter and they allowed us to check out 1 hour later than the scheduled time.

Location is great however the hotel not so much. We had 2 rooms and one of them had cockroaches, also the pool pictures are misleading as around the pool is also the terrace and is kind of strange to use the sunbed with people around sitting on the terrace . Stuff is nice and helpful.

Fairly ok if you are a smoker

If you are a non-smoker this is not a hotel for you. The halls and rooms smell of smoke and the ventilation system makes sure that the smell is transported around. The coffee at breakfast is good but the rest of the buffet could be better.

Ottima sistemazione

Veramente ottima sistemazione. Ben posizionata, a pochi passi dalla Corniche. Staff gentile e disponibile. Camere con tutte le comodità. Facevano un po' di confusione con i quantitativi degli asciugamani, ma forse era solo perché eravamo in alta stagione e l'hotel era al completo. Al mezzanino dispone di un pub con cucina e somministrazione di alcolici. Questo hotel è sicuramente un posto da consigliare e in cui tornare. :)

Un tout grand merci à Dallal pour l’enregistrement,qui nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire et nous propose une superbe chambre et nous a fourni un vrai 3eme lit . Elle a été très disponible et réactive. Merci à elle et merci également au personnel de chambre 👍👍.pour le dîner nous avons mangé à l’hôtel, je ne le recommande pas .et le petit déjeuner ,pas de pain en conséquence et faut a chaque fois redemander et la machine à café est très lente . Et le personnel de salle ne réagit pas quand on leur dit qu il manque quelque chose ou qu il faut réapprovisionner la machine à café. J ai pas bien dîner ni petit déjeuner. Sincèrement, j ai déjà eu mieux, si j y retourne c est juste pour la chambre sans repas.

The hotel is OK, but the price of the room does not match with its quality. I got a smoking room without previous notice on the booking, and that could not be changed once I arrived. The room ad toilet are big, however, the temperature in the shower is difficult to regulate.
