We spent a really beautiful week here. The owners and housekeeper were very attentive and welcoming. The cottage was warm, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The cottage is located next to the Arts Centre in Torridon Village as well as at the foot of the magnificent Liathach, possibly the most spectacular mountain in Scotland and by Loch Torridon. The village has a stores which also doubles up as a cafe. The Arts Centre, too, has a cafe. We spent most of our time climbing the local mountains including Beinn Damh, Beinn Eighe and Beinn Alligin. Beinn Damh can be ascended from the front door if you're prepared for a fairly long road walk. The others involved short car journeys. The holiday here was special made better by having a cosy cottage to come back to. We would certainly pay a return visit.
