"I was greeted very politely by a very busy member of staff. Service was a little slow but only because it is clearer a popular venue for locals as well as travellers. My room 14 was very comfortable and clean. There is a damp patch on the ceiling outside the ensuite door. Unfortunately i did not see any staff to show them as i left. A very convenient place to stay right in the centre of the lovely market town. "

"The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The facilities are a bit rundown and could do with a lick of paint. The menu choice is a bit limited and the restaurant times are short. The rooms are basic but clean and other than a hairdryer everything else is provided."

"The window was cracked. The roof was leaking into the bedroom. No cleaner. Single bed 1 pillow 1 towel paid for double room. No lightswitch. 1 bulb between a lamp and a light with no switch. Sockets didnt turn off. "
