"Poor communication from the unfriendly staff. We didn't get informed the stairs walking upstairs and down stairs are full of bird poos in the night and morning, my dad fall of from the stairs in the morning, luckily he didn't get serious injuries. After that my dad helped to clean the stairs with some towels, after all of that the hotel try to charge me the use of the towels today! We also met grumpy staff when we chick in, she wasn't very patient when we had one extra guests than the original booking. Overall beautiful place to stay unfortunately staff need to be better communication and more friendly to guests."

"Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! "My partner and I stayed at Arma Hotel for 3 nights on holiday. This resort was the oasis we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here we were able to be present and felt grounded by the nature within the resort. The grounds are beautifully kept. The museum was a wonderful way to get to know the heart of Balinese culture. We met painters while wandering around the museum and loved getting to know them and hearing about their work. The people are extremely friendly and genuinely interested in connecting with you and helping you get what you are looking for out of your stay. The front desk was very accessible, and we were able to communicate with them seamlessly through WhatsApp, where they helped us schedule our activities for the following day. There’s a really special energy throughout the space, with a strong sense of gratitude and authenticity that you can feel during your stay. If you are looking to get to know the heart of the Balinese people through art, nature, and spirituality, then this is the place for you. We also highly recommend the golden hour tour! "
