Mountain retreat
Our extended family enjoyed a long weekend in the Poconos at Indian Mountain Lake. The weather wasn't great for swimming in the many lakes and pools, but we found plenty to do around the house, neighborhood, and surrounding towns. The host was SUPER communicative and responsive to minor issues, as well as providing recommendations for things to do. The house was comfortable enough for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids). The one trundle bed isn't in very good shape (warped boards and thin mattress), so we didn't use it. We had some difficulty with the Apple TV and the fireplace, but they weren't essential to us so we didn't bother asking for support. The house was a bit musty smelling when we checked in. It was a very damp weekend (foggy, rainy, cool), so I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence. There were no signs of mold or mildew though. After using the heaters briefly, the mustiness went away. Overall, I would visit again.

Great location for family for a getaway
My family just came back from this amazing house. It accommodated 10 of us very comfortably. It was redone in a very professional nice way. The 2 bathrooms, The kitchen, the bedrooms, living room etc. The beds were very comfortable and house was very clean. I really enjoyed all the amenities that the gated area provided Including access to the local lakes and pools. I know i also had access to basketball courts as well. This really added to our enjoyment of our vacation. Whether it was swimming in the lake or pool during the day or going to the lakeside at night to see the stars. The owner of the property was amazing at communicating with me prior to my stay and during my stay. He responded quite immediately with any of my questions. We really enjoyed being outside. Whether it was using the fire pit or just sitting on the porch with a nice little bulb lights that are hanging around the house. To sum up, we had an amazing vacation because of this house. I was really sad to come home as I really enjoyed all the amenities that this house provided. And we really hope to come back!

1. Check-in process was very easy. 2. Communication with owner was very friendly, quick and attentive. 3. House was clean and neat. 4. Kitchen had all the tools needed. 5. House was in very quiet location. 6. Deer and bear sighted, deers weren't nuisance, and bear and her Cubs were sighted away from property nothing to worry. 7. It is in gated community, that part was bit tedious and nothing that should be held against the owner.

Great family getaway
We spent 3 nights here with family and had a great experience. Everything was as expected and worked except the fireplace, which the owner was really responsive to trying to fix. We still made some great memories here and had a blast visiting nearby slopes. We were here in February but I am sure this would be a great place to stay anytime of the year, as there are a few lakes in the community for walks, fishing, etc. Everyone in the family, especially the kiddos, wanted to come back. Would stay here again.

Perfect upgraded cottage getaway
This was a perfect mini vacation for me and my family and friends. There were exactly 10 of us only 3 children then rest all adult size persons, and we fit comfortably. Pros. Upgraded cottage amenities, great heating in most of the rooms, ample dining seating, comfy couch. Easy access after community checkin, quiet neighborhood even with the New Year’s Eve holiday crowd. The price was good for what we received. The communication was superior to most places I was put at ease by the lever of communication. Cons. The Community Checkin process was very extraneous, took over an hour just to get past the gate to enter the community. (I was made aware this only happens on holiday weekends). Just one room had no access to heat so the door would need to be open but it did warm up from the heat coming from every other room in the cottage, lastly I think 10:00am checkout is quite early. Not for a hotel that you can gather you bag and leave. But for a home where you need to clean up and pull the bedding and wash the dishes and take out the trash 8am turns into 10am rather quickly I would suggest 11am All around I would definitely book this location again.

Best way to explain is amazing
Me and my family had an amazing time, close to all ski areas as well as shopping. Lots of scenic views, the family of deers were a plus. My kids loved seeing them everyday and night lol. Beds were comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends and family.
