Villa Albuar

Impressive villa. Very spacious and perfect for an adult family group. Plenty of space so never felt on top of each other. Good communal areas including pool table and table tennis. Great pool and BBQ area Well equipped and good location for beaches and marina. Loved the quirky ‘Narnia’ bathrooms. Would recommend.

Great Villa

This was a lovely villa with outstanding views The pool was a good size and a pleasant temperature The Villa had everything you need, including a little basket of toiletries in each bathroom and plenty of towels, which were changed midweek for us We felt safe and secure in the villa A nice stroll to the marina which has a lovely atmosphere and plenty of choice for food and drink We had a great time and made lots of happy memories Would definitely recommend Thank you for the wine :)

Nice big villa for families

It is a beautiful villa in a beautiful location close to Albufeira. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The bedrooms are beautiful and spacious and each have their own bathroom. Unfortunately, a few beds had hard mattresses. The kitchen is also spacious with a double-door refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster and 2 coffee makers, one of which is for cups. There are plenty of shops nearby for daily shopping. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Albuar!

Great family holiday

The villa is a great place for a family group. There's lots of space inside and the grounds are fantastic - an excellent pool, lovely gardens, plenty of seating areas, jacuzzi, pool table and table tennis, so lots to keep everyone entertained. The location is great - less than 10 mins to the beach and about 20 mins walk to the marina which is great for entertainment and food/drinks. Easy to get an Uber to the old and new areas of Albufeira, or just have a long walk! The host was very responsive when messaging. The decor/furniture inside could benefit from updating, especially some of the mattresses (some too soft, some too hard!) and some more glasses, mugs and tea spoons in the kitchen would be really useful! But in general, if you're looking for a spacious place in the sun with excellent space outside and you're not too worried about ultra modern interior, this is a great place.

Beautiful villa, fully recommend!

We had a lovely time at the villa, the little attention to detail and nice touches such as the little toiletries etc in the bathroom and bits in the kitchen were appreciated, as was the fact we didn't have to bring any towels as both bath towels and pool towels were both provided. The pool was a little cold on das the sun wasn't out but that didn't stop the 11 year old ha...bit the rest of us were able to sensibly opt for the hot tub haha...with the lovely sea view. Great communication from host! Cleaners friendly. I very much appreciated the mattress topper in the sea view double room...I struggle with my bones on hard beds so that was a very welcome relief! Walk to the marina only circa 20 mins but on the way back it is up hill haha...but we did find a more scenic route than the main road. Nice little bar only a few mins walk away which has a little shop next to it for any essentials (but it is expensive). We went to Continente and got a taxi and filled up 2 shopping trolleys including alcohol with beer, spirits, BBQ coals etc, food with plenty of meat and fresh veggies and loads of snacks and fresh juices for 6 (although more like 8 as my husband and step-son literally eat 2 regular man portions. The villa is massive you could literally get lost in there. The stairs are gated at the top which was very relieving just in case our toddler escaped her room in the middle of the night...only problem I recall is it's so big if she darted off it was like hide and seek haha. Thanks

Lived up to our Expectations

This large and well kept villa was exactly what we expected and what we wanted. Yes, it could do with some modernisation (espectially in the bedrooms) - but thats a minor thing. We had a great time and the host (Miguel) was very accommodating. Would recommend.

Un joyau de l’Algarve

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine! Villa idéalement située juste un peu hors du centre comme nous le souhaitions (à moins de 5 min). Vue incroyable et à proximité de la plage de Sao Rafael. Le look un peu vieillot ne nous a pas empêché de profiter à plein de cette grande maison maison et tous ses équipements.
