“Terra Nostra Garden Hotel is like a slice of Eden! Set in Furnas, one of the most beautiful places we visited in São Miguel, it offers peace and natural beauty in abundance. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. There are plenty of lovely lounges and quiet corners to relax in. Our room was large and spotless, with the biggest bed I’ve ever seen! It had a small balcony but no seating — if I stayed again (and I definitely would), I’d book a room with outdoor……

The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. “Simple, but nice, clean, modern style. Well located for a lower cost visit to Furnas. Has a common kitchenette that with fridge, coffe maker, utensils and such, and a cute little market steps away, along with the delicious water of the tres bicas fountain, provide low cost food options. The restaurant downstairs is also very good. ”

“What a great spot if you want quiet and tranquility, the view was spectacular. Went for a nice walk in the morning along the bluff not a place to go if you do not have a car or don’t bring groceries with you. It’s a bit far out that is what I loved about it. ”
