Excellent experience in Algiers

My family and I traveled to Algiers from California and we stayed at Hotel Soltane for few days. We had and excellent experience. Very clean, conveniently located near the City and all the tourist sites. Most importantly, the hotel staff were very friendly and offered EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will stay here again on our next visit.

Review for Sultan Hotel in Algeria: The hotel reception is pleasant, but the air quality is not ideal. There is a strong smell of smoke in the reception area, and some staff members smoke in the restaurant as well. For this reason, I believe the hotel is not suitable for non-smokers.

Honteux pour un 4* Lors de m’a réservation l’hôtel propose (une suite) Piscine spa massage aucune de ces prestations dans l’hôtel Motif :en panne Mais ils continuent de proposer ces prestations au lieu d’informer les nouveaux clients Petit déjeuner catastrophique Des que j’ai su qu’il n’y avait pas de piscine ou de spa ,j’ai essayé de demander un remboursement sans succès

C’est un peu l’arnaque car le bien être, spa, piscine et le hammam mentionnés dans l’annonce, sont tous réservés uniquement que pour les femmes, donc j’ai été déçu à l’arrivée quand on me l’a annoncé, j’avais réservé justement pour pouvoir profiter de tout ça, payé et réservé comme tout le monde mais pas de profits ni pour moi ni pour mon fils, je suis donc très déçu.

La chambre manquait de propreté à notre arrivée : serviette tachée, déchets dans les placards, poussière et coins sales (voir photos). L’annonce ne précise à aucun moment que la piscine est réservée uniquement aux femmes, ce qui a été une mauvaise surprise. Enfin, l’ascenseur est très mal organisé : il faut souvent attendre longtemps avant qu’il n’arrive. Dommage, car l’hôtel a du potentiel mais l’entretien et la communication ne sont pas à la hauteur.

Le restaurant de l’hôtel n’était pas terrible, la nourriture n’était pas à mon goût. La vue depuis la chambre donnait sur la rue. Il n’y avait pas de moyen de transport autre que des taxis, le métro était un peu loin
