"The layout was great for all 7 members of our family that included a 2 year old. We loved access to our own private beach area just steps from the back steps. The check in process was perfect-contactless-perfect for our late arrival due to flight. We appreciated the credit for beach gear and it was delivered as promised. We had no issues with rental but quick responses for any question I had prior to our arrival. We never reached the pool because the beach was fabulous. The only thing we would have changed is how long we stayed. We are already planning our summer vacation."

"Clean, family-friendly and spacious enough to spread out and prepare meals. A good fit for a low-frills family vacation, but maintenance and clearer disclosure are needed.The kitchen had cracked tile, a leaking freezer ice maker and a finicky dishwasher unsecured in its slot. We saw ants and a palmetto bug; some bugs are expected in ground-floor Florida accommodations.Coyotes on the beach can scatter unsecured trash. I would not let small children play immediately outside the condo unsupervised.Although inside South Seas, this rental does not include resort wristbands. We could not access resort dining through its cashless system, pool cabana reservations or the water park—especially disappointing when driving past it with kids every time we left.We learned only at check-in about May–October turtle-season restrictions: no lights visible outside after dark, and all beach chairs, tents and equipment must be carried back to the unit nightly. These requirements should be clearly stated in the listing so families can decide before booking.While packing up on our second night, my daughter and I were swarmed by biting midges at the dunes, leaving us itchy for the rest of the trip. Better pest management and advance warning would help.Overall, a clean, low-key base for family time and cooking, provided you understand the maintenance issues, beach rules and resort-access limits."

"The property is just as described in the advertisements on Vrbo and the location is ideal with the pool right outside the condo building and the beach a short walk away. We knew that there was still construction going on at South Seas plantation and we’re prepared for that. There was some inconvenience associated with that, but we were prepared."

"Excellent vacation of 8 days. The only complaint I have is that the beach was misrepresented, in that we were expecting the sugar whit sand pictured, and that we were used to experiencing all along the gulf coast. However, it was a perfect time of the year and the beach was nearly deserted. So from that standpoint it was excellent. Nevertheless, for me it’s a deal breaker, even though every other aspect was excellent, or nearly so."
