"Views were absolutely phenomenal, don't think there is a single room without a great view. Accommodations are simple, but well executed. Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Perfect location right below the Allmendhubel. 100% would stay here again. Traveled with a toddler and felt super comfortable."

"The name says it all. When you stay here, you feel like you are staying in a palace. On the outside, it is far away the most magnificent building in Murren. The inside is even better, tastefully and magnificently decorated. The staff is excellent, and the sauna in the spa area is not to be missed. Finally, the dining room is dramatic and the food, particularly the extravagant breakfast, is hard to beat."
"The view from our balcony was incredible! Very close to the train station and gandola ride. Staff was very friendly, especially Miriam at the front desk, who attempted to make us drinks when the bar was closed. She did a great job and was so nice to accommodate us. One of my favorite stays in all of Switzerland! "

It was a very clean and comfortable modernized room. Loved the bed! No elevator, but I loved the rustic vibe. Front desk very friendly and helpful."

"Great location and view of the Mountains. Easy walk to nearby trails. There was a Full kitchen which was great. There was great attention to details which greatly improved our stay! The clothes dryer was a bit slow to dry and needed multiple attempts but otherwise everything was amazing! "

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend!
