"Not a better location in downtown STL!"

"The hotel was great and most staff were great. At breakfast we got there 15 minutes before it was over but the lady working there had already shut down the waffle iron and was pretty snide in her response as to why it wasn't available. We got what we could to eat before he put it all away and sat at a table. There was a solo lady sitting at another table who also had a similar experience. Then the attendant turned the lights off in a clear message to all if us thst breakfast was now OVER and we should hurry up and get out. The lady who was traveling solo went and asked her to turn the lights back on as we were still eating breakfast. After some terse conversation, she eventually, reluctantly relented. It was so weird snd antithetical to the rest of our experience at this otherwise, great hotel."

"The location was 10-10. The amenities (valet, Starbucks, breakfast, and bar) were excellent and made the stay. The hotel is starting to show its age and could use some refreshing but for the price, I was happy. It was very affordable and I wasn’t expecting 5-star perfection based on cost. Overall, great stay and would return."

"We had 2 rooms and they were kind enough to give us adjoining rooms, as we had 4 kids with us. We go there just after we could have had drinks and snacks. The breakfast was very good, lots of options. As this is downtown the building is old but they have kept it up very well. We were on the 6th floor and being almost 6' tall the hallways were maybe 6'6", so not as spacious as new hotels. But our room was nice and clean. We didn't feel that the a/c got as cool as we would have liked it, as my husband likes 68 degrees. We would stay here again!"
