Beautiful location with views over the town and surrounding fells.

We had a fantastic, cosy weekend stay at Fairfield cottage.

We had a fantastic, cosy weekend stay at Fairfield cottage.It’s in a fab location with great views and just a short walk into the town.The kitchen is a great size and well stocked with the all the pots, pans & utensils you could need. The dining area also a nice space with log burner and large smart TV - made for some cosy evenings! The bedrooms are a good size and such comfy beds. There was also plenty of towels provided. The cottage was very clean when we arrived also. We really could not fault Fairfield Cottage and are already looking to rebook.

Great place

A well-presented house, in a great location close to the centre of Ambleside (though the walk back from town is very steep!). Lovely kitchen and large bathroom, and 3 decent-sized bedrooms over 2 floors, with lovely views across to the hills opposite. Ideal base for a walking weekend or longer stay in the glorious Lake District.
