"There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. As far as the staff, we only encountered 2 people, there was a man at checkout who was very kind and friendly, and made our checkout incredibly simple. However, there was an older blonde woman that was there when we checked in, she came off as a bit rude, and not even the slightest bit friendly. In fact, in that moment, we considered not staying, but we took a breath and a moment, and went upstairs to our room and ended up having a really nice evening. "

"I had a peacful night sleeping in the soft cozy bed. No noise from the main road. The best pizza at Mike's is a few blocks away."

"Not enough amenities. Toilet does not flush well. Hot water in shower is not enough hot. Noisy outside. Room is very dark, not enough light."
