“Modern, updated and clean room. Bed was comfortable and the lighting was adequate. Nespresso coffee makers in the rooms would be a better coffee experience. Parking was easy and we loved being close enough to walk to the downtown area.
Would have been better if the breakfast options were more interesting, given that the hotel seems to have the facilities for it. Waffles were nice, but there was only sugar-free syrup and some jams, plus some apple pie filling stuff.
Instead of just cold, hard……

“While the restaurant was excellent, the hotel quaint and the town wonderful, there were a few concerning features of my stay. The elevator was out for my entire stay with no advance notice, necessitating carrying a suitcase up and down a steep staircase. The carpet in the room was very extremely old appearing, and the bed was very uncomfortable without support and left me with a backache. For the high price, I was disappointed. There was no refrigerator or safe in the room either.”

“Always a pleasure to stay here while in Placerville! Staff is always kind and always smiling. Daily service is wonderful. Parking is good also!”
