San Pedro Angels Gate Lighthouse Hotels

"Well to start off, there was no mention of construction going on to the hotel. They were working well into the late afternoon till around 6 or so. The restaurant was under construction as well and they moved the dinning area to conference room that happen to have a balcony. It was kinda awkward and no one didnt really know what to do when you get in. The food was good though. The cocktails were just ok. We tool the kids to the pool in the afternoon. We had it to ourselves for a brief moment until a group of people , 3 guys and 2 girls, came in and started blasting there music. 1 guy was saying he didnt care about playing the music loud and yelled out, "I own this F...ing motel!" Im pretty sure he didnt lol. All the pool noodles they had available looked like someone took a bite out of them and spit the pieces into the pool. There was chunks of pool noodle floating all over the pool. The little beach sitting area was nice. That was well taking care of and had a nice view of the water. The rooms were nice and had a great view if you get the balcony rooms. The ice machines and vending machine had locked cage doors on them and i wasnt sure if i need to prop the door so i could get out or close it and be locked in lol. The pictures from what i seen on the Expedia profile wasnt exactly the same when i got there. "

"Proximity to cruise port was ok, overall the hotel was ok. The hotel wasn’t near anything such as shopping or dining options so you are likely to eat at hotel restaurant which was average. Hotel and rooms felt dated and run down. Decent pool. Nice walk around marina outside. Went with intention of using shuttle to cruse port and there was no availability for time to sign up when we arrived."

"Do not stay here. It's the middles of a ghetto neighborhood with zero parking and I'm just glad nobody broke in to my car."

"Easy to get to our cruise terminal, and complimentary coffee should really be offered. For cost of our room 200+ the couch cushions looked ripped and ratty. Light bulbs needed ..things like that. Shower was clean and bed was comfortable. Was quiet!"

"The breakfast is too simple. It would be better to have a microwave or a kettle in the room. The shuttle to the cruise terminal is the reason for us to stay there "

"Our room was ready a little bit early when we got there and they let us check in. We got the mini suite because there were three of us. We booked here due to the convenience of being right next-door to the Carnival cruise terminal where we were going to sail out after spending the night at the Queen Mary. There was a queen size bed and a pullout couch that I believe was also queen size. There are also two full bathrooms in the suite. It’s dark and a little bit creepy but in a good way. It’s old, elegant and really cool. Our irritation came when I realized (rather close to bedtime) that the pullout couch was not made. I pulled it out and there were no sheets. There were no sheets or bedding in the closet either. So I went to the front desk to request such and after waiting for more than an hour, I had to go back and ask again. The daytime and nighttime staff were like night and day. Daytime staff super helpful and accommodating. Very great with customer service. Nighttime staff unfriendly, cold and slightly rude. I finally got those sheets delivered to the door, but I had to put them on myself. Not exactly what I was anticipating for a room that cost over $350 for one night. I liked the experience, but I probably won’t do it again. The observation deck bar was a great time!"

"This place is falling apart. The ceiling in the hallway had flood damage and holes. There were tiles missing in the bathroom. The toilet had mold growing in it under the rim. Also, they took carpet out (thank god, due to the smell of the hallway carpet) but we had a connecting room door in our room and it had a 1 inch gap. We could hear the other room loud and clear. It was cheap but not worth the money "
