“Awesome ”

“Proximity to cruise port was ok, overall the hotel was ok. The hotel wasn’t near anything such as shopping or dining options so you are likely to eat at hotel restaurant which was average. Hotel and rooms felt dated and run down. Decent pool. Nice walk around marina outside. Went with intention of using shuttle to cruse port and there was no availability for time to sign up when we arrived.”

“Organize the lobby during pick up for cruises, the lobby was elbow to elbow people ”

“Do not stay here. It's the middles of a ghetto neighborhood with zero parking and I'm just glad nobody broke in to my car.”

“The area may not be a safe place bcos my car was stolen within the hotel parking area during my stay. Never happened to me for the +40 driving years! Guests need to pay more attention on their belongings. Despite this, the front desk staff are kind and very helpful by providing the CCTV videos and reporting the case to the LAPD. Its good that I bought the Full compensation insurance.”

“Extremely clean room”

“We loved our stay here! Check in was quick, and the staff were so nice and helpful. We never had an issue finding parking during our whole stay. Also love that they lock the gate at 11pm so people can’t get in without a code. The room was very clean, and had a full refrigerator, microwave, and an electric stove top. All of them worked great! ”

“Room design and layout are very good”

“I found the City Center Hotel to be an affordable, cute midcentury hotel in the heart of downtown Long Beach. There is a lovely courtyard with plentiful seating and a French-inspired restaurant with cocktails open Tue-Sat from 5pm to 9pm. (Though it seems they close at 10pm on the weekends.) Also, there is a kidney-shaped pool surrounded by lounge chairs. I picked this hotel because they allow dogs. I would give this hotel four stars if it wasn’t for two things: 1) I requested a quiet room……

“Room was super , toiletries were good , bath towels ample , TV was great , overall good . i have room next to parking lot , so little noisy in area when parking of car , close door neighbour can hear , walls are not thick enough to control noise , close to walking area Aqarium , breakfast spread ok .Seating area were less. Breakfast 1 to 10 - 6 , Room -8, Noise - 5 , overall 1 to 10 - 7”
