“We found The Boundary Hotel a mixed bag... It's a newly renovated place and was competitively priced for Durango in high season.
The positives:
It's conveniently located on the northern part of the main drag it's easy to reach. It's located only a couple of blocks from a City Market grocery store - completely walkable. It's also pretty close to the Animas River trail, so we were able to access it without needing our vehicle. The renovation is pretty well done and the room was fairly large,……

“Stayed in Durango for the night on the way from California to Colorado Springs. Older motel but in clean condition. The room had a small frig in it, desk, tv and a decent bed. It was great for a one night stay for the price. Ask for rooms towards the back as the front street is really busy. The front attendant was very helpful and nice. If you are looking for a high end room, this is not the place for you.”
