「This is a no-frills kind of place. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and curved. There is a strong smoke smell in the building corridor which seeps into the living room of the apartment a little bit, but fortunately doesn't reach the bedrooms. The walls are thin, and I could hear bits of conversation and walking around from the upstairs unit. Some things seem not to have been designed with actual comfort in mind - for example, there are flashy LED lights in the ceiling, but no bedside lamp...

「The plusses: The location was perfect for us, right by Orioles Park near the Inner Harbor, in a lovely neighborhood with centuries-old brick homes. The property was meticulously clean, and the host was very responsive with setting up parking for us and arranging for an early check in.But there were some issues. It is a garden apartment, with only one three-foot-by-two-foot window which is below street level. Very dark and rather depressing, especially when the weather is grey, as it...
