Loved it !!
Fantastic host , beautiful room with awesome views.Mike was a fantastic host ,very helpful Once settled in he appeared with bottle of beer for my partner and a glass of prosecco for me,and If that wasn't enough two scrumptious cakes waiting to be devoured. Mike goes above and beyond what you expect from a guest house. The room was immaculate there was a choice of teas and fresh coffee.and the bed was super comfy.Fantastic breakfast I could go on ,but I suggest you try it for yourselves .

We had an amazing weekend at Appin Bay View, we stayed in the Eyrie and could not fault a single thing, Mike was great with us throughout, arranging taxis and restaurant bookings for us, I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Superb views, great hosting, lovely stay..
A beautiful room with an amazing view across to Castle Stalker (Monty Python fans will recognise it!) which can be admired from the balcony. Great walks nearby and it is possible to get right onto the shoreline in a matter of minutes. Fabulous breakfast (with a wonderful Asian option which as absolutely delicious!) but no evening meal. This was no problem at all as there are wonderful eateries within a short distance - but we opted to visit a local smokehouse and bring back food to picnic at our balcony table whilst watching the sun set. A relaxing stay with a thoughtful host - we will be back!..

Excellent stay
Superb host. Fantastic setting. Lovely room overlooking Castle Stalker and Loch Linhe. The breakfast was probably the best I have ever had. Fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended.

Welcome in the Highlands
Last minute getaway We stayed in the Eyre room which is the largest room, however all rooms were a good size Mike the owner was an exceptional host. He had a great knowledge of the area and could advise on local attractions and walks as well as restaurant. View from dining room over the loch and Castle Stalker magnificent. Appin approximately 15mins drive from Glencoe. Tip: Mike spent many years in Asia he therefore offers a Thia breakfast.

Highly recommended
Incredible view, lovely host and beautiful room. What more could I ask for! I was made very welcome. A dinner reservation was waiting at the pub over the road (fantastic steak). Everything was perfect. This was just a one night stay on business but I hope to be back on holiday.

A very nice place to stay. We had a comfortable room overlooking the Loch with a grand view. Mike was a very hospitable host and made sure that everything was satisfactory. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning views, excellent modern room and bathroom (Stayed in The Eyrie), genial and welcoming host, great breakfast options including the 'full Scottish'. Why not relax on the balcony and take in a spectacular sunset. Camera/drink required. Great steaks at the Old Inn just minutes walk away. (Booking essential) Lovely circular walk can be enjoyed at Port Appin, 10 mins drive away and Tony might lend you his Kayak if you fancy a paddle to Castle Stalker.

I can’t recommend Appin Bay View enough. Great place, great host, great value, great breakfast, sensational view, great pub just down the road (need to book), fabulous area.

We loved the aspect. Probably unsurpassable in the West of Scotland. Owner Mike went out of his way to make our stay memorable, even provided a birthday cake for my wife. Only problem was the porridge at breakfast.

Mike was a great host. He was very attentive and informative; making reservations for us for dinner as well as very knowledgeable about the area. Our room had French doors opening onto a balcony which overlooked the Loch and abandoned Castle Stalker . A stunning view! We would highly recommend it!

I booked this as a birthday get away for my Dad.
I have heard nothing but rave reviews from my parents about their stay. Not only is the B&B lovely, the views are excellent, the service was perfect and the owner warm and inviting. The room they stayed in was great and the bed was very comfy. They really enjoyed the Thai breakfast, it was something they hadn't had before and they enjoyed it immensely. They are talking about going back next year, it was that nice. All in all, just a lovely B&B with a great owner.

Arguably the best view in Scotland.
Stunning location overlooking Castle Stalker and the Loch. The accommodation itself is an immaculate place, rooms are beautifully decorated, and the local host, Mike, could not be more welcoming and helpful - a wonderful man. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here, you will not regret it.

Best Stay Ever
Our stay at The Appin Bay View was fantastic the owner Mike was so friendly and nothing was any trouble for him. The choice of breakfast was better than a lot of the hotels we have stayed in. This is one place I will definitely return to. If I was to give marks out of 10 this would be a fifteen

Breathtaking Views and charming host
Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I agree it’s the most beautiful place we have ever visited. Our host and the guest house made it perfect. We had the honeymoon suite with a huge bathroom, a tub where you can lay and watch stars through a skylight. And stars there are more than i have ever seen because the place is quite remote and far from any city lights. We plan to return.

Oh yes, we will return!
Stayed 2 nights at Mike's B&B in mid August. he was such a helpul host, even called us to guide us past traffic jams and gave us lots of great tips about the area. The room was very spacious, comfy beds, huge tv, very clean and with a nice view of the garden. The view of the bay from the breakfast room and from the bay view rooms is unique. Breakfast was delicious, several options including a thai breakfast, also good. Across the road is The Old Inn with very good food (steaks are fantastic) and a great atmosphere, highly recommended. We never would have considered it if not for Mike.
