"Our stay at Silver Bay Hotel was very disappointing. We had booked a room with two large twin beds but were given one double and one single. The single bed was definitely not sleepable - the mattress was so lumpy you could feel the base beneath it. The double bed was a bit better, but still not comfortable.
The room was far from clean, and the bathroom was poorly designed. The shower caused water to flood the bathroom, and we had to run down to reception for extra towels to try to contain...

"Beautiful hotel, can’t think of a single fault. amazing value for money, rooms are big, clean and comfy and have a lovely balcony space. the family who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. it’s in a lovely location, just a short walk from the beach, gouvia centre and the marina. The hot food at breakfast was cold and there was very little (3 rashers of cold bacon) for later comers. The coffee from a machine was undrinkable. The orange juice was poor. "

"A fantastic property, and the pool was lovely in the heatwave too. Had an issue in that the aircon unit in one of the rooms wasn't working when we arrived but this was sorted by the next day. We'd also been given the wrong key code due to an issue with Vrbo but the owner was very responsive thankfully! The owner was very communicative with pre check in instructions and directions etc. Centrally located so easy to get around places as long as you have a car. What a gorgeous property we'd love to come back to... "
"The hotel is basic but we knew this when we booked, having said,it has all you need for a pleasant stay. The position by the seafront is superb and the restaurant caters food for all palates. I liked the fact that this is an approx 30 room hotel and has a family touch to it. All staff are very nice and after a few hrs of stay, they were calling my son by his name.
Beach is literally in front with sunbeds and parasol to rent, the hotel may also be able to provide some parasols if available.
The food of the hotel was very nice and prices reflected the quality.
Seafood pasta is a must to try!
