"My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected.
No negatives at all - our stay was excellent."
"We stayed at the Insula for just a night. They allowed us to stay and use the pool and facilities at the boutique hotel the next day and looked after our luggage whilst we enjoyed ourselves. "This hotel had a lovely lobby, and a good atmosphere at the pool area with live music entertainment on one of the nights we stayed. Only complaints are the uncomfortable bed and tiny shower. But for the price we paid, this hotel exceeded our expectations. "
"Room was comfortable and clean. We had a great terrace with a table and a view of the castle and water. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the AC was great for the hot weather. The daily breakfast was also great.
The pools are fantastic, we spent most days hanging by the pool swimming. Sometimes taking the short walk to the nearby public beach for a quick swim also. The pool bar/restaurant was great for lunch also. Location was great, walkable to both the port area and castle area.
Would definitely look to stay here again the next time we are in the area."
