「A high quality hotel in the area with comfy rooms and good shower facilities. Meals were ok, not "great" but adequate. The dinner is quite expensive, but if you don’t want to go out on a super windy night, dining at the hotel restaurant can save you a lot of hassle. Enjoyed our stay, and all the staff has been very friendly and helpful. It is also close to some of the trials in the area so that’s very nice, too.」

「Property is indeed of a serious renovation. Rooms are old. Floors are warped, easy to get a splinter. Parking lot is horrible, and the stairs down from the lot to the lobby are dangerous due to rocks from the parking lot being on the stairs, creating a major hazard. There is no air-conditioning. No thermostat. The first room we entered must’ve been 85°, and had not been cleaned well. They moved us to another room and this one the heat was off, thankfully, but still very uncomfortably warm. 「One of the most unique and breathtaking accommodations on Earth. My wife and I spent three nights here on our honeymoon and almost cried when we had to leave. The location is fantastic (especially with a hire car), the scenery is astounding and the food and staff were faultless. Being able to see Fitz Roy from your bed is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Also walking down to the river at sunrise and sitting on the hammocks watching the alpenglow is amazing. Could not recommend enough.」
