“The owner was personable and attentive. So much memorabilia. It was fantastic. We will stay again! The room was clean, good was fresh and great. And, one house off the beach!! Couldn't ask for a better experience.”

“The best part of this hotel is its location. The staff is friendly and helpful but the rooms are tiny and no tea/coffee facilities. The parking is very challenging: just go to the parking by the bus stop and hope for the best. Breakfast is very good. Their restaurant with the great views is good but overpriced. The “ aile of raie” ( ray flapper) was OK but for 10 euros cheaper it was MUCH better in Chinon. No great view though…”

“Breakfast was wonderful and pleasant”

“A historic building very well situated in the main square. Room quite adequate . Minor issue with one of the bathroom taps but staff dealt with it. Reasonably priced car park behind the hotel.”

“Rien à redire, tout était parfait !”

“Great location. Spacious room with very comfortable bed.”

“Historic chateau. Spacious room. Lovely breakfast included. Parking available”

“This was a lovely hotel that was formerly a boy’s school. Walking distance to everything in the town and a pick up stop on a local tour of the Normandy sites. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything in the room was comfortable. We recommend the breakfast. Also check out the town’s amazing farmer’s market if you are there on a Saturday.”

“If you are looking for the perfect French experience on your way to visiting the beaches of Normandy, stay at Ferme de la Ranconniere. It is a picture-perfect inn that has everything you love about France: ancient stone walls, abbey-like quality, great restaurant, nestled in a quiet French town. Our stay was amazing--great experience because of the great features and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet!”
